The Intercontinental Hotel, located in the heart of the trendy, urbane Yorkville is the perfect home away from home for the busy professional and companion dog about town. No need to feel guilty about leaving your furry baby at home. A myriad of willing and eager pet professionals are on hand at the hotel and in the neighborhood to assist with dog walking, canine field trips, grooming and vet appointments and boutique couture and accessories.
Upon check-in we were provided with an information sheet detailing canine services and a map of dog walking routes and dog friendly local parks. The staff at the Intercontinental goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort of human and canine guests. Dinner plans and no time to engage a dog sitter? Not a problem! The affable front desk staff was happy to oblige and took turns taking Phoebe for a walk (small parks are a block away from hotel) and had the chef prepare some chicken and veggies for her dinner.
Our studio suite was located adjacent to the roof top deck, perfect for guests and pooches to relax and enjoy a snack with a stellar view of the downtown skyline and a luxurious indoor glass enclosed pool. The studio suite was elegant, ultra comfortable and attention to detail ensured complete comfort. All rooms are pet friendly.
